Become a volunteer peer group facilitator!
A key objective in creating the 21st Century Mastermind Groups membership is to give you a track to run on so you can become a volunteer peer group facilitator.
A business owner might use what they’ve learned here to empower fellow members of their association by facilitating a group of younger business owners for example.
A professional solution provider might volunteer to help a group of business owners in their area of expertise to get a mastermind group started.
To help you learn how – there is a teleclass where you will learn how to facilitate virtual groups – people you’ll meet with over the phone for productive conversations located at in our “Resources” area.
I was personally involved with the first “facilitating at a distance” teleclass they created – you might here me on some of the recordings asking questions about the d-i-y peer group process.
I found this teleclass effective for the folks on the calls who had essentially no experience as well as those with vastly more knowledge of the process that me.
Naturally you can use volunteer peer group facilitation it in your business as a way to showcase your skills in a non-commercial atmosphere with people you want to like, trust and respect you.
But the real power may be when you become a volunteer facilitator in a community sense.
Let’s say a local charity is looking for someone to chair a series of upcoming meetings around some important issues. They ask for volunteers.
You graciously accept the opportunity.
Now all you have to do it flawlessly execute the assignment and you will be held in high esteem by everyone in the community.
