Mastermind Groups Mean Realizing Your Potential
Setting your agenda to stay focused.
One of the most effective ways to keep your peer group focused is to have an assignment/report element at some of the meetings.
For example at every other meeting or so one of the members who had previously been given an assignment – provides the group with a summary report.
Depending on how you decide to use your Yahoo or Google group the person giving the report, 5-10 minutes highlighting the important take away messages from their assignment, could post the summary itself for everyone to refer to later.
Books are excellent for this purpose and I want to suggest one to get you started.Recently we published the d-i-y strategic planning toolkit created by Dan Elash, PhD. It is a unique consultant in print entitled “Doing It Right, Realizing Your Company’s Potential”.
It is unique because it is in 3-D.
At the top level there are key strategies for your review, click on a link and you will see an example of how a Main Street business is implementing that strategy, and click your use.
There is enough relevant leadership, marketing, management, and other material here in fact to fill out a year-long agenda.
In 2006 I put the entire interactive book online, making it available at no charge. I hope you’ll use it and tell your fellow association members and colleagues about it!
The book can be read at http://www.Doing-It-Right.biz
